A fear of spiders is my biggest fear so that was the first thing I searched for on the internet, and this image was the first that I came across. This painting appeared extremely atmospheric and rather frightening. I thought it was clever how the main detail is on the spider as the back contains barely any detail except for the hand, this gives the emphasis on the fear that's being portrayed.
